My name is Korie Watkins I am from Overland Park Kansas but I currently reside in Gardner Kansas and I was in a car accident on July 7th heading to the hospital to see my daughter be born and a semi hit me and drug me a quarter of a mile and then left the scene. My car caught fire and I broke both my wrists and had a deep laceration underneath my neck that was complicating my breathing. People that stopped to help me had to drag me out of the car so I didn't get burned up in the vehicle before the firefighters got there. I am not able to work for six months per doctor's order that includes three surgeries and physical therapy. I am starting this GoFundMe account to help pay for living expenses and bills while I am unable to work. I will post updates on my condition to keep everyone informed on my situation . This has been a very tough time for me and I am staying strong for myself and my daughter. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
