I am sure most of you know my friend Marc Schoenfeld. I have been his friend for over 15 years. Maybe some of you have seen his posts on Facebook recently. He is not doing very well. He has been in and out of the hospital quite a few times over the past few months. His Crohn’s Disease has flared up terribly bad. He has lost a tremendous amount of weight in the past few weeks due to the disease. He has also lost his car and has been living off of credit cards over the past year to pay medical bills, the actual medical insurance, and just to survive. He is currently fighting to get Medicaid so his doctors can start to treat him. It has affected him physically, but even worse, mentally. He now has depression, anxiety, and so forth. His doctors have listed him as temporarily disabled as well. He mentioned to me today, as he fought back tears, that he prays at times for a miracle to get him out of this situation, and an opportunity for a fresh start. He also said, "But I don’t think miracles like that are out there." Can we please get together and help him out and prove that we can be the miracle that he prays for? For those of you that know me well, know that I would not post something like this, nor endorse something like this, unless it was absolutely necessary. Marc is a great guy and doesn’t deserve this in his life right now, especially during the holiday season. Thanks so much everyone for taking the time to read this.
