Running for the Stroke Association UK - April 6th

Hello there!

Who would’ve thought I’d kick off the year by signing up for a half marathon? I sure didn’t! But here we are, and it’s not just about me trying to complete the 13.1 miles.
There’s a bigger reason behind this run.

I’m raising awareness for the Stroke Association, an incredible charity that helps nearly 100,000 people each year. The toll of a stroke doesn’t just hit the person – it impacts everyone close to them.
In 2019, my family experienced the effects of a stroke, but thanks to the amazing support of organisations like the Stroke Association and the emergency services, we’re still together.
But not everyone gets the same chance to rebuild their lives after a stroke, which is why I want to do my tiny bit to help. The Stroke Association funds critical research and provides specialist support to help survivors live their best lives.

If you can, please support me in getting my fine little ass across that finish line – I’ll be forever grateful. I know times are tough, so even the smallest contribution means the world. And as they say, “every little bit helps!”

Thank you for helping to make a difference, one step at a time!

P.S.: The half marathon will take place in Berlin on April 6th 2025.
