Help Feed Families in Sri Lanka

Hello, my name is Thajanah and we'll be fundraising for families in Sri Lanka that are struggling for means to stay nourished. Just like many countries, Sri Lanka is operating the best it can given Covid-19. However, not many are aware of how they operate. Some areas have restrictions where the entire community is closed off to travel anywhere outside of their parameter.

These restrictions don’t only include cities blocking visitors from other cities but neighborhood blocks where families can't commute outside their vicinity. These restrictions leave families working with the food they originally have or won't have access to commuting to areas to obtain food. In addition, families can't make income during these periods to buy food under these restrictions.

Our goal is to donate to neighborhoods with very low-income families who are affected by these regulations. We will be bringing resources to these families in dire need. With your help, we can make this possible and feed a whole community!

This will be organized in two locations in Sri Lanka, Vavuniya, and Jaffna. The donations will be split equally between the two areas. We'll be working alongside Mr.Sritharan who has been working on Integration Village Rehabilitation Project for 10 years in Sri Lanka.

- building permanent housings 
- providing live stock such as cows and hens
