PLEASE HELP SCARLETT! ❤️❤️

Scarlett Roman is an amazingly strong girl and is one of 7 fellow “Jane Doe”s sexual assault survivors from our mutual serial fake Uber driver rapist case against Nicolas Morales that JUST concluded in his sentencing of 310 years a couple weeks ago. She was kidnapped, abused, raped, and had her life threatened in ways that are very difficult to come back from. While this sentencing was a success, her journey is far from over and she really needs help. She’s from Mexico City and is desperately trying to get on her feet out here in California and also escape going back to Mexico where she lived in a very toxic and abusive household and suffered abuse at the hands of an ex boyfriend and family member. She lived in California originally when the rape happened and it crumpled her enough to force her to go back home where the abuse continued. This is her second chance and she’s still VERY much in the midst of healing. She has no money, no job, no car, no place to live, but is trying so hard to get on her feet and keeps hitting a dead end.

In order for her to get a job she needs a U-visa, but hers is currently in process and she won’t get it for a few months to a year, and in order to get a place to stay and a car she needs a job. So she’s in between a rock and a hard place and I’ve been helping her call homeless shelters for a place to stay and it has been way more difficult to make arrangements than you think and it doesn’t seem right or safe for a young sexual assault victim female to be on skid row waiting for a homeless shelter admittance at 8 am in the midst of healing… We are in the midst of doing everything we can to help her.

What would exponentially SAVE Scarlett right now would be:

1. A small cash donation. This money would be used for Scarlett to buy a car, pay for an apt, or enough to pay a friend to crash on their couch for up to ONE YEAR when her U-Visa would hopefully kick in, and food/essential needs/lawyers, etc.

2. Cash jobs she can get to pay for a room -personal assistant/babysitter/dog sitter/walker -something that won’t require her U-Visa yet

3. A couch/spare room she can stay at in the meantime? (She needs her next place to stay starting next Wednesday March 22nd) -She is EAGER and would be EXTREMELY appreciative and helpful around the house should you let her in.

This kind of support is IMMEASURABLE in a vulnerable time like this and ANY support you can give will be PROFOUND in her healing.
