College Tuition for Michael D. Fooks

Meet Michael D. Fooks, an extremely talented singer! He is my best friend's son and I consider Michael to be my nephew. A sophomore at the University of Hartford, Hartford, CT, Michael is enrolled in a five-year dual degree program in vocal music and music business.

Michael's mom and my best friend, Michelle, is working multiple jobs, including a full-time position as a government contractor and part-time positions as an Avon representative, a Solavei e-commerce representative and a hairstylist. She is also the choir director at her church (volunteer/unpaid). With all that Michelle does to generate income and with the partial scholarship Michael was awarded, THOUSANDS of dollars are still needed to fund Michael's college education.
