UPDATE (2/20/26): Aline plans to return to Mexico next week & have surgery down there (where her family lives). We do not have medical insurance for Aline and the initial quote for surgery is approximately $12,000 USD. (Extensive rehab will also be required and will cost several thousand more $$'s).

On Monday, February 16th, while competing at ProQualis in Mesa, Aline Morales suffered a devastating injury. As she pivoted, her foot got stuck and her knee twisted — completely rupturing the ACL in her right leg.

Aline is not just any player — she is a rising star in the pickleball world. Fresh off winning a Triple Crown in Cape Coral, she has been making waves internationally. With a 5.447 DUPR, Aline is currently ranked #2 player (all ages) in Mexico & Central America and #6 junior in the WORLD . Her future in the sport is incredibly bright. ✨️

This injury means surgery, months of rehabilitation, and approximately 9 months away from competition. For a young athlete at the top of her game, this is a heartbreaking setback — physically and emotionally.
