About My Dad

My dad has always been the kind of person who puts others before himself. He’s been a huge impact on not only our family, but the community as well. If you have had the pleasure of meeting and knowing him, you’d know he’s the one who will give you the shirt off his back, his last dollar, or a helping hand, even when he doesn’t have much to give. He has worked hard his entire life, but right now he is facing a challenge he cannot overcome on his own.

His Health Journey

He has been out of work due to Chronic Kidney Disease, a condition that has taken a huge toll on his health and strength. Currently, he is waiting for a disability decision, which has left him without steady income or the ability to provide for himself as he once did. Recently, things became even more difficult when he was hospitalized with sepsis caused by a kidney infection. While he is healing, the road ahead is uncertain and will require continued medical care, time, and support.

Why We’re Asking for Help

Asking for help is something my dad would never do for himself, so I am doing it for him. He has given so much to others, and now I am asking for help to ease the burden on him during this difficult time. The funds raised will go toward medical bills, medications, and basic living expenses while he focuses on recovery and waits for disability benefits to be approved.
