Life has thrown more at us in the past five months than I ever thought we could handle. My husband has been out of work, and I’ve been doing everything I can to keep our family afloat—paying the bills, taking care of our three kids and our nephew, and standing by my husband’s side as he fights this battle. But the truth is, I’m exhausted. Physically, emotionally, and financially.

We are praying with everything we have that this will be the last round of chemo. Watching the person you love go through something so painful and draining is heartbreaking, and trying to stay strong for our children while carrying the weight of it all has been the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I don’t like asking for help, but right now, I have no choice. We simply can’t do this alone.
