James was struck by a hit & run driver while attending a BBQ on 7/16 for his father & brother's birthdays. James will be missing weeks of work, in addition to acquiring new vehicle damage, medical, & insurance costs. James has had one surgery for his injuries & will undergo another to replace lost tissue to his leg. James served 15 years in the social service industry before moving to a municipality less than a year ago. Due to his non-permanent status, James is not eligible for certain benefits to assist with these costs. James & his family wish to thank anybody with the ability & generosity enough to give.
