In loving memory of our mother, Martha Contreras

Our mother, Martha passed away today 11-26-2020. She was the kindest and the most sincere person we knew. 

She was fighting an infection in her bloodstream so strong it caused her organs to start failing. As heart-shattering as it was we did not want her to continue suffering. Her doctors asked for our consent to make her as comfortable as possible and let nature take its course. Unfortunately because of COVID-19 like many other families, we were not able to be with her at the very end. However, we are immensely grateful for her nurses and doctors for everything they could do.

While we are devastated we will not see her again, we are comforted knowing she will be reunited with her son who passed several years ago. She leaves behind her husband, two sons, two daughters, and 4 grandchildren.

Today our family is asking for any donations to put our mom to rest. All donations will go directly to our mother’s funeral service, burial and to help with any end of life costs. We appreciate anything you can give. Please keep the Contreras family in your thoughts and prayers. 

Nuestra madre, Martha falleció hoy 11-26-2020. Era la persona más amable y más sincera que conocíamos.

Estaba luchando contra una infección en el torrente sanguíneo tan fuerte que causó que sus órganos empezaran a fallar. Por muy desolador que fuera, no queríamos que siguiera sufriendo. Sus médicos pidieron nuestro consentimiento para hacerla lo más cómoda posible y dejar que la naturaleza tome su curso. Por desgracia, a causa del COVID-19 como muchas otras familias, no pudimos estar con ella al final. Sin embargo, estamos enormemente agradecidos a sus enfermeras y médicos por todo lo que podrían hacer.

Mientras estamos devastados, no volveremos a verla, nos reconforta saber que se reunirá con su hijo que falleció hace varios años. Ella deja detrás de su marido, dos hijos, dos hijas y 4 nietos.

Hoy nuestra familia está pidiendo donaciones para que nuestra madre descanse. Todas las donaciones se destinarán directamente al servicio funerario de nuestra madre, al entierro y a ayudar con cualquier costo de fin de vida. Le agradecemos todo lo que pueda dar. Por favor, mantenga a la familia Contreras en sus pensamientos y oraciones.
