Please assist with Monica's cancer treatment

Donation protected
This is my sister, Monica Avila.  She’s is 41 years old, a loving mother of 3 loving children.  Arianna 15, Sebastian 7 and Anthony 3.  She is an adoring wife, sister, daughter, Tia (Aunt), cousin and friend.  Monica is the sweetest and most loving person I know, she is always there to help when needed, will do anything for you and never ask for anything in return.  She raised me as a child and hasn’t stopped checking in and caring for me as an adult.  She’s been my rock and now that rock is beginning to crumble.  Two weeks ago Monica was diagnosed with a rare and very aggressive form of breast cancer called Primary Angiosarcoma.  Less than 300 women nationally are diagnosed with this cancer, which leaves her with fewer options than most breast cancer diagnosis. Likely meaning she won't qualify for reconstructive surgery after her treatment.

Because it’s a fast aggressive growing cancer, her treatment has to be equally fast and aggressive.  Her first surgery was yesterday, 8/19/20, which was a mastectomy of one breast.  She may be in need of another mastectomy in 3 weeks with her treatment to follow immediately after.

This unplanned diagnosis has cornered Monica and her family with limited options.  Their medical insurance covers some costs but unfortunately insurance covers a limited percentage.  Therefore, their medical bills are quickly piling up and they are becoming buried in debt.  Her husband, Alfonso, is the hardest working man I know but this financial burden is too much for him to bear alone.  They were unable to secure a personal loan to pay for the treatment and help with costs.  They reached out and learned they do not qualify for any government aid. The Cancer Institute of America will only assist children or adults who are over the age of 65.

In order to be transparent about her out of pocket expenses here is the breakdown:

Surgery - $3,000
(possibly in need of second surgery)  - Additional $3,000

Cancer treatment - $19,600

Future appointments - $2,000 - $6,000

Total approx. = $31,600

With all this in mind, I’m asking all of you. My family, friends, caring acquaintances and strangers.  Please help my sister pay and obtain the necessary cancer treatment she needs. Please help her live longer to see her kids grow up, graduate school, get married and have kids of their own.  Please, just help her live another day.

Anything helps and everything is greatly appreciated.
