David's heart Journey

Our father is currently fighting for his life. We were told he could have 2-6 months to live. His main valve on the back of his heart is leaking. By this leaking it's causing him to be in congestive heart failure. He was given three option in which the heart surgeon don't think he will be strong enough to make it through. So we are being sent to Iowa City on April 25th .They are going to talk about his option of a heart transplant . David is a disabled Veteran with a limited income .We are starting this page to help our parents be able to have the money to help with gas and stay while in Iowa City. They will be running many test. They live in Des Moines so that's a far drive to do so many times. Thank you so much in advance for your help!
