Great West Run - Drollins Charity Fundraiser
Donation protected
Mr Seaton-Burn, Mr McGrath and Mrs Ridler-Murray are running the Great West Run as a charity fundraiser this year, with all of the proceeds being split between the Drake and Collins house charities: CALM and EPIC PF: Exeter Patients in Collaboration for Pulmonary Fibrosis Research.
Pupils in the two houses have researched, presented on and then voted for these charities; thank you in advance for your contribution to these fantastic organisations.
More information about Campaign Against Living Miserably: Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide. Every week 125 people in the UK take their own lives. And 75% of all UK suicides are male. CALM exists to change this. Join the campaign to take a stand against suicide.
More information about EPIC: 'Exeter Patients in Collaboration for PF' (EPIC) are a team of researchers from the University of Exeter, working with clinicians from the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Trust, Pulmonary Fibrosis patients and their families.
Our agreed purpose is "to advance PF research further together than any of us could do alone and to help find effective therapies, treatments and ultimately a cure. To do this in a way that is collaborative, mutually supportive and evolving."
