Hi guys, can’t believe what’s happened but, the go fund me page only allows you to have money sitting with them untouched for a certain amount of time, I thought we had until the 30th of September to withdraw it all and donate it, however turns out it was actually the 3rd of September and I’ve misread it and it’s been automatically refunded ... I would’ve done it so much sooner but as you all know we relocated to Sydney two weeks after the wedding and it’s just been crazy busy trying to tie up everything in UK and sort everything out in aus also. So long story short, because we didn’t withdraw it in time gofundme have refunded everyone!


Absolutely gutted and heartbroken as I would’ve sorted everything this week as I’m back home for a little while... we’re not about to ask everyone to redonate but would love it if you did so the choice is yours. The money from gofundme from your first donation will reach your account in 3/7 working days.


As I said, don’t feel you need to redonate the money but I know some of you will and it will be donated to the two charities as planned. Such a hassle and genuinely devastated as we raised so much but hoping everyone will redonate it, but at the same time please don’t feel you need to, Ive just sent this link to everyone just in case.
