As some of you may know, we got the news that every parent or family hopes to never hear about a loved one, cancer. My god son, Silas, who is not even two yet has been diagnosed with liver cancer and has a tumor covering over 50% of his liver. Many tests are still being ran and results are not all back yet so the specific type and metastasis is still undetermined although they have a good guess of potentially a neuroblastoma. He has been admitted at Brenner children’s hospital since Wednesday of last week and is not expected to be released for another possible two weeks. The hope is to start chemo by the end of the week once we have a definitive type of cancer to treat. Clinical trials are in the works as we find out more. As his stay begins to look longer and longer, I am asking for any prayers and donations possible to help assist them in the fees of this past weeks hotel room, upcoming chemo treatments, and the medical bills to come as this should be the last things they have to worry about right now. We will also be doing various fundraisers to help as well such as a bake sale from Coleman’s Sweet Treat Bakery, and potentially t-shirts when we get the chance to plan a little further. We want to thank each and every person who has continued to pray for sweet Silas already. Let’s see God work some miracles!!
