Debbie’s Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Our Mom, Debbie Cain was admitted to Seton Hospital on August 31, 2019. She was diagnosed with Streptococcus Pneumococcal Meningitis, which has infected the meninge of her brain, the lining of her spinal cord as well as her bloodstream. She was placed on a breathing machine as well as a feeding tube. During the diagnosis phase she experienced two strokes, one on each side of the frontal lobe of her brain. She has current paralysis of her entire left side of the body and has had two additional seizures as well as accumulation of puss on her brain. She has recently been removed from the feeding and breathing tube and is currently in the IMC unit. Due to her diagnosis she is currently receiving Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy and will be admitted to a Rehab Hospital once the time comes to where she can mentally and physically be released from the hospital. Your commitment to helping our mom with medical bills along with long term help is greatly appreciated. We ask that you continue to send prayers her way for a speedy recovery.
