Can a heart explode from too much love? If so, then that is what I believe happened to our dear sister, Deb. On Friday, October 5, 2015, Debra Sunderland suffered a very serious and life threatening heart attack. She had emergency surgery to place a stint in a completely clogged artery and will undergo drug therapy to deal with the rest. Her recovery will be demanding, but not in the usual sense. Deb will actually have to slow down… :o
The condition is genetic, which explains how such a vibrant, active woman who is so committed to her health could suffer such a blow. We pray for her complete recovery, and quite honestly, because willfulness is also a family trait, believe that she will be better than ever on the other side of this challenge.
Deb has been a giver all of her life. She has selflessly come to the aid of so many of us and offers her love and support without question. But now she needs us, big time. Her emergency surgery and care was not covered by insurance. The full extent of the financial damage isn’t yet known, but we know it’s going to be substantial. Please join us in helping to lift at least a bit of the weight of this daunting burden from Deb’s shoulders.
Your generosity is so very much appreciated!
