Honoring my Grandma

Some people’s love is so constant, so gentle, that you don’t realize how much it has been holding you together—until it’s gone. My grandmother, Eloise Boyd, was that kind of love.

My grandma was the first person to believe in me. When I first wanted to learn parkour but had no where to train — my grandmother graciously let me flip off the family’s cars and even the house so I could learn how to flip. She stood outside with me every day, spotting me, filming me, and cheering me on louder than anyone else could. Without her unwavering love and encouragement, I would not be who I am or where I am today.

Her body carried heavy burdens. She battled polymyositis, a rare and painful muscle disease, endured a stroke that left her partially paralyzed, and lived with vascular dementia, celiac disease, and colitis. Her spirit never wavered. She did not complain. She did not give up. She smiled—and chose grace every single day. On November 21, 2025 at the age of 78 she peacefully entered eternal rest.

We are humbly raising funds to help cover memorial and celebration-of-life expenses. Additionally, we are seeking support for my grandfather — who is wheelchair bound and has faced many of his own health challenges. We hope to help him navigate life without his wife of 61 years.

If you feel led to give, please know that every donation—no matter the amount—matters deeply. Your support helps ease this season of grief and allows our family to honor a woman who gave so much of herself to others. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page or keeping us in your prayers is just as powerful.
