Call for Further Help

Hello friends,

The work with Journeys End charity in South Africa continues.

Thank you to all who earlier this year donated funds towards our education efforts with the children in Sir Lowrys Pass ‘village’ on the outskirts of Cape Town. Your money helped to buy books, chalk & boards for the children and hundreds of portions of vitamin enriched porridge, which in some cases is the only daily meal these children receive and is crucial to student learning and alertness.

Unfortunately, the porridge portions are coming to an end I have been asked to help raise more funds towards buying more porridge for the next 6 months.

I continue to teach these children four days a week, remotely from Austria and they are making great progress in their learning, with alphabet, basic words, days of the week months of the year and name spelling amongst their achievements. With the high school children, we are seeing in increased grasp of English writing.

Any donation big or small is greatly appreciated. I will give 100% of what is raised to these children.
