Young Family Loses Everything in House Fire

After stepping out for only an hour on Friday, 11/19 my sister, Katie, and her fiance, Chris, returned to their new home to find it glowing with flames.

They've lost everything: all their possessions, the house they worked so hard for, and tragically, their beloved puppy and kitten, Murphy and Ellie. Katie and Chris were excitedly preparing to host their first Thanksgiving this week after finally getting settled in, as well as planning for their wedding in about a year. While we are beyond thankful Katie and Chris are safe, we will remember Murphy as the sweetest and goofiest Golden, and Ellie as the spunky ball of energy that brought us all so much joy.
