¡Hola Amigos! Mi nombre es Mario Alberghini, y soy empresario en los campos de la moda y la educación. Este es mi reto y te invito a caminar y compartirlo con tus amigos.

Los últimos cuatro años fueron muy retadores para tantos de nosotros, que hace algunos meses decidí adoptar un estilo de vida saludable, e intentar nuevos pasatiempos.
Abril es el mes del Planeta Tierra, y luego de un año de Pandemia, ¡Salgamos a disfrutar de la Naturaleza!
¿Cuál es el reto?
Entre el 1 al 30 de abril caminaré el sendero conocido como Cerro de los Cielos en Salinas, Puerto Rico donde ubica el popular Arbol Solitario (visible desde la carretera #52, luego de pasar el Monumento al Jíbaro Puertorriqueño, en dirección de San Juan a Ponce). Este hermoso sendero consta de unos 1500 pies de altura, apróximadamente (partiendo desde la carr. #1). 
Día 1
¿ Qué quiero lograr con este reto?
1. Crear conciencia sobre la importancia de promover iniciativas personales e institucionales orientadas a la conservación del medioambiente.
2. Resaltar a las comunidades en Puerto Rico, amenazadas por los cambios en el medioambiente, fomentando la justicia ambiental.
3. Recaudar un dólar por cada pie de altura escalado = $45,000.00
¿ Cuál el fin de este "Fundraising"?
1. Beneficiar 3 entidades con los fondos recaudados.
2. Facilitar un diálogo sobre el potencial los retos ambiantales tienen para unirnos como ciudadanía en tiempos de gran polarización ideológica. 
Día 2
¿Qué entidad/es recibiría/n los fondos recaudados?
1. Seleccionaré 3 entidades sin fines de lucro.
2. 100% basadas en Puerto Rico.
3. Dedicadas a la conservación del medio ambiente y/o espacio naturales, desarrollo de iniciativas de base comunitaria para atender comunidades impactadas por cambios en el medioambiente.
¿Cuándo serán anunciadas estas entidades?
1. Se le dedicará una de las últimas tres semanas del reto a cada entidad
¿Hastá cuándo durará el reto?
1. Estaré recaudando hasta el 10 de mayo de 2021.

Hello Friends! My name is Mario Alberghini and I'm an entrepreneur from San Juan, working in the fields of both Fashion and Education. This is my challenge and I would like you to take part in it by donating, sharing it, or walking with me!
The past four years took a toll on me, as they did in so many others. At the start of this year, I decided to adopt a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle, and in April, being a month dedicated to Planet Earth, why not step outside and enjoy the beautiful nature around us in Puerto Rico?
What is the challenge and where will it take place?
Between April 1 and May 1, I will hike every day to El Cerro de Los Cielos in Salinas, reaching its peak where a solitary Mango tree dubbed "El Arbol Solitario" lies. This hike is approximately 1500 feet and is rated as difficult.
Adding all up, at the end of this period I will have hiked 45,000 feet and walked 178Km.
The other challenge is raising $1 per foot climbed.
Why am I doing this?
I'm not crazy! But I do wish to give back and bring awareness to the very real challenges facing the environment and underserved communities in Puerto Rico, impacted by changes to their environment.

A Non-Profit Organization working on projects aimed at natural resources preservation and addressing issues facing underserved communities impacted by environmental changes.
100% local, serving communities in Puerto Rico.

When will this all take place?
I will be walking between April 1 and the 30, 2021.
Funds will be raised until May 10, 2021.
Who will benefit from this initiative?
As of Sunday april 11 I will begin showcasing Para La Naturaleza’s initiatives.
