SOME HORRORS ARE REAL.

45 is too young for dementia.

At just 45, Amien, a husband and father of three is facing a future no one could ever have imagined.

For years, this family has given back to their community. They never imagined they would one day need to ask for that same kindness and support in return.

A diagnosis that changes everything…

At just 45 years old, Amien was diagnosed with younger-onset dementia.

He should be in the prime of his life, watching his children grow and making memories with his family. Instead, dementia is stealing the future they imagined together. Their children deserve more time with their dad, but the heartbreaking reality is that he will miss so many precious milestones - their graduations, weddings, becoming parents themselves and the memories most families take for granted.

Younger-onset dementia is cruel. It affects far more than memory, changing a person's personality, behavior, emotions and ability to manage everyday life.

There is a particular kind of heartbreak in watching someone you love slowly slip away, piece by piece, while they are still right beside you.

Time is precious. And right now, this family is fighting for every moment they can hold on to. ❤️

They've spent years giving back. Now their family needs a little help.

Asking for help doesn't come naturally to this family. But this journey is more than they can manage alone.

Dementia brings an enormous emotional toll, alongside growing practical and financial challenges as care needs change.

Funds raised will help cover everyday living costs, in-home care and support, and the additional expenses of keeping Amien at home, surrounded by his family, for as long as possible.

Every contribution helps ease the financial burden, allowing the family to focus on caring for Amien, supporting their children and making the most of their precious time together.

While they cannot change this diagnosis or know what the future holds, support can help give Amien the best possible quality of life, surrounded by those who love him.
