Eevee was adopted from Harbor Animal Shelter in 2020, and since then she’s been my Velcro kitty — always by my side.

Recently, Eevee suddenly began hiding, refusing food, and vomiting. After rushing her to the vet, I learned she had a life-threatening intestinal obstruction and needed emergency surgery to remove the object. Without it, she could have suffered severe intestinal damage.

The surgery and vet care cost around $6,000. I was able to cover a $4,200 deposit using CareCredit, help from friends, and my savings, but I’ve now exhausted my funds and am struggling to cover the remaining balance and credit payments.

I’ve applied to several pet assistance charities but haven’t had any luck yet.
