Summer Strong

UPDATE****

Summer was suppose to go home a few weeks ago. Mom and dad were super excited to bring her home. Unfortunately, right before she was suppose to go home Summer coded and her heart stopped for 3 minutes. Summer’s heart did restart, but this set her back multiple steps. With this happening, Summer’s parents now have to take an extended unpaid medical leave. They won’t be having any income in the upcoming months. If you could give anything to the new goal it would be greatly appreciated!! Prayers and thoughts are always welcomed as well. Summer Strong!! ☀️

Charity and Shawn Zaborowski's rainbow baby, Summer Jae, was brought into the world July 15th at 2:31 pm. She started having difficulty breathing the day after she was born. She was brought to the NICU where they found one of her mitral valve's in her heart was not formed properly. She was soon transferred to Boston Children's Hospital for further treatment. She is currently in the Cardiac ICU as the team continues to do testing to see what the best plan is for her. She may need surgeries but at this time they are supporting and treating her while they decide what the next steps are. Charity and Shawn will be traveling daily from Agawam to Boston to be with their daughter, as well as spending the night when needed. At this time it is unknown how long of a journey this will be for her recovery and how much time she will need to be at Boston Children's Hospital. Any donation is appreciated and will go toward Summer's medical bills, as well as Charity and Shawn's travel and possible hotel stays. Any prayers and good thoughts are appreciated as well.
