The core of our family needs your help. Most may know what has happened over the past 6 months, but not everyone is aware. Rita, my mother, has suffered multiple strokes in two separate incidents and has required life-saving surgeries both times. These series of strokes have left her starting from scratch on how to walk, talk, write, read, and take care of herself. If you know Mom, you know how independent she has always been, and this has been really mentally, financially, and physically draining on her. So many people have stepped up to help, and we are forever grateful.

Now Mom will come live in North Carolina to continue her healing and recovery. Unfortunately, during this time in her life, she needs more accommodations to help her have as much independence as she can while she gets stronger. We are just asking for any help from anyone who finds it in their heart. Our mother is the strongest woman, and ever since my dad passed away, she has always been there for the four of us anytime we called. She would never ask for help, but sometimes we have to ask for her. The medical bills have only just begun, and she is unable to work currently. If you do not have any extra to spare, just please continue to pray for Mom for strength, faith, and perseverance. We love her very much and need her here with us.
