Many of you know that 10 years ago, I relocated to the Costa Rican jungle to pursue my ultimate life project. While living here, I have been investing my heart, soul, energy, and personal finances into building and sustaining an alternative holistic school for local & international children.

In 9 years, our educational initiative has grown from a backyard homeschool co-op with 5 families, to a thriving school of 80 children pre-school through grade 8.

As my oldest children are approaching high school, I wish to continue to grow with them. I wish to offer them, and the many new relocating families, a resonant space to be sustained through high school graduation.

In the last several months, our community families and partners have pledged nearly 60% of the total expense to build phase 1 of our secondary education campus and we are excited to secure the final funding needed to make this happen! Our students’ master plans are completed, blueprints are submitted to permitting, the land is secure, and have only the final fundraising to accomplish!

SO, for my 44th birthday this year, I am hoping to contribute all I can personally toward the final 40%.
