Please Help Wald Amberstone's Granddaughter

On May 21st, my granddaughter Isabella was in a bad car accident, in which her car was totaled, and she was injured. (The other driver was a 16-yr. old boy with no driver's license.) Although no bones were broken, she suffered burns and a severe concussion. She is also having trouble with her vision. Her doctor told her she needs complete rest and can't work for at least 8 weeks, or she risks brain injury.

 

 

 

Isabella and her husband's modest salaries were just enough to pay their basic bills and raise their 4-year-old son, but with only one income currently available, the family is floundering. Debt is mounting, and they're even having trouble paying for food.

 

Although she has overcome great adversity in her life, Isabella has always impressed me with her optimism and iron will. But now, when I talk to her, I can hear the despair in her voice. Ruth Ann and I have helped as much as possible, but we can't do it alone.

 

Isabella set up the GoFundMe campaign for me when I was hospitalized with Covid, so I know what a real life-saver it can be. I was grateful for the much-needed money raised, and the loving support of the community was beyond precious. I love my granddaughter very much. Anything that you can give to help ease her suffering would mean the world to both of us.
