I am Laura Juarez. I work in a selfless career providing mental health services to the best clients in the world, our U.S. military soldiers. I was diagnosed with Her2-, Est/Pro+ breast cancer of the left breast at the young age of 45, in May of 2024. I officially completed treatment on 4/15/2025. I patiently wait for scans during my 3 month follow-up in July to officially proclaim "I am cancer-free." In the meantime, I am pending a thyroid biopsy for a suspicious nodule.

I have 2 beautiful daughters, and my life goal is to get healthy, prevent recurrence, and be present for myself, them, and my family. I am learning, retaining that knowledge, and sharing it with all who are willing to listen. Generational curses end with me. I have learned a lot and through this knowledge I have learned how the system keeps the sick ill for profit; therefore, I will do my very best to ensure my daughters and family are healthy - physically, mentally and spiritually.

I am currently at about 24k in medical debt. Susan G. Komen denied my application 5 times with the required documentation. Unfortunately, the need is great for many in my shoes, and I pray for new and improved medical advancements against this awful disease.
