Update on Zoë
On January 8th Zoë was transferred back to Golden to continue her healing in her hometown hospital where she has been progressing quite well December 26th Zoë went for her 2nd surgery on her right leg/ankle/foot injuries where several plates and screws were used to put it all back together. As of yesterday, she has been able to use a walker with her left leg as the femur has healed enough with the metal plate they used to secure the bone. The right leg will need more time before it will be able to support weight. February 9th we go to Calgary to the spine specialist to see how her fracture in her neck is healing and hopefully she can get out of her collar. Zoe and I sure appreciate all your very generous donations to aid in her recovery! Thank you so much for the love and support ♥️
Update on Zoë, Zoë is expected to be in the hospital for at least a few more weeks. She has had a surgery on each leg, and currently waiting for the swelling to go down on her right leg for a second surgery. She is in good spirits and is tough as nails. She had a small brain bleed, a fracture in her neck, a couple of cracked teeth and lots of bruising. She has a road of recovery ahead of her to say the least. We are so grateful for the donations and sharing to help Zoe on her road to recovery. Love to you all ♥️

As many of you know Steve Mackinnon’s daughter Zoe Guldager, was in an accident and is now in Foothills hospital. It is going to be a long road to recovery for both Zoe and Steve. I believe that Steve is going to have to be off work for the foreseeable future to help Zoe get around, which means he will not be able to work. There is going to be many trips back to Calgary for follow up’s, hotel bills, household bills. Any donations would be greatly appreciated to help offset these expenses.
