Hello friends and family of UM Cheerleading,
Thank you for clicking on this link and considering donating to us.
We are Maastricht University's cheerleading association, which consists of two teams - Legends and Heroes. Under normal circumstances we perform at events and competitions. Here we showcase a routine that consists of acrobatic stunts, tumbling and dance. This year has been a bit different, but our athletes were able to do "real" cheerleading at the start of this academic year. However, as the situation with corona worsened we had to adjust our way of training and have reverted to group excercise and stretching classes and these last weeks even online lessons.
COVID-19 has not only impacted the way we train, it has also decreased our income significantly. We usually have a lot of income from performances, appearances at parties and partnerships with local businesses. We have lost this income for now, so that is why we need you. We appreciate all donations of any size, so please help us out with any amount you see fit. Together we can reach our goals!
Your donation will help pay for next year's purchase of tumbling mats that will be used by both teams and new Heroes uniforms. We are also anxiously waiting to perform and go to competitions again. Competitions also cost money, so your donation would also be used to pay for this.
