Aminata Appeal for Ongoing Support

Asalaamu 'alaikum warahmatullah.We are the Tawheed Foundation, a charity dedicated to serving Allah through humanity.Our team in Sierra Leone has been called to a young sister who has recently had both of her legs amputated. Young Aminata was involved in a serious, sudden and tragic accident three weeks ago. Aminata was travelling to the market to buy some wares to sell in her village when she was thrown from her vehicle into the path of a heavy goods truck. Alhamdulillah she survived the tragedy, but without her legs...Aminata has been making this trip regularly. She is the sole breadwinner for her family and has been supporting them as a petty trader. By the Grace of Allah and with your kind help, let us honour and support this dear, young sister with whatever she needs.Aminata is currently in hospital recovering from her second operation. She was in intensive care up until yesterday so we have not yet had the chance to speak to her. We would like to find out what her dreams and aspirations are for the future and let her know that we will do our utmost to support her so that she may have hope in this difficult time in shaa Allah.Aminata's family have told us that they are unable to meet the cost of Aminata's medical treatment. Up until now, they have been going around desperately knocking on doors asking for money.The cost so far - which includes the two operations plus ongoing painkilling medication - stands at over 13,000,000 Leones which is approx. £1428. Aminata and her family are relying upon your generosity to pay these medical bills so please dig as deep as you can to provide the support and hope our young sister so desperately needs right now. We shall then move forward together in shaa Allah to bring Aminata and her family support in the long-term.
