As children, Justin and Missy played together. As adults, they have created a truly modern family. With “yours, mine, and ours’’, a farm, jobs, and a busy family life. They love and support each other while “doing life” together.

January 2024, Missy became ill. She has been in the hospital since. Currently at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.

After discovering a congenital heart defect, Missy is now awaiting a heart transplant. This is the only option for her to recover. Waiting is the hardest part, as she will remain in the hospital until her new heart becomes available.

Justin continues to manage home life, while traveling to and from the cities. Extended hospital stays are never easy. Your support will help as they navigate through the waiting, the upcoming transplant, and eventually, the “homecoming”.
