Help Send the SF Glens to the MLS Next Playoffs!

Hi! My name is Antonio Medina and I am the head coach of the San Francisco Glens U19 MLS Next Soccer team. Our team learned on June 7, 2022 that we earned a coveted spot for the MLS Next national playoffs in Frisco, Texas beginning June 26.
Please accept my last-minute, urgent appeal to help us raise money to assist a handful of our families who can’t afford the high cost of the trip. Any amount helps and is greatly appreciated.
Why do we need your help?
- Major League Soccer only confirmed our spot with 19 days to kick-off, and last-minute travel costs are prohibitively expensive ($1,200 per player).
- The team comes from highly diverse socioeconomic backgrounds - some of our families need assistance with the high cost.
Why is this important for the San Francsico Glens?
- It is a HUGE achievement to qualify for the national championship playoffs – the San Francisco Glens U19 team is one of the top 32 teams in the entire United States!
- No San Francisco Glens team has ever made it to the national playoffs.
- The tournament is the #1 recruiting event for college soccer in the United States, and it puts the Glens on the radar screen of national collegiate recruiters.
- A number of Glens players are vying to earn scholarships so they can be the first in their families to attend college, while playing the sport they love; this tournament will give all Glens players incredible recruiting opportunities on the national soccer stage.
