Hello all! I am Crystal Campbell, the daughter of Donald Wardlow, who is currently a missionary in the Phillipines. Donald has been dedicated to teaching people the Word of God and helping people understand how important their salvation is. He has shown the love of Christ to many by example and servanthood. Just before Christmas, Donald was infected with a mosquito born virus called Dengue Fever. There are 4 strands of this virus, Donald was diagnosed with type 3. His health has been deteriorating and doctors have been unable to keep him stabilized. His blood and platelets keep dropping and he now has pneumonia. Doctors are planning to transfer him to another hospital soon to see an oncologist, as they are now believing that he has cancer in his throat.
The Health system in the Phillipines requires that medical bills be paid regularly in order for medical treatment to continue. Once a bill reaches a certain amount, treatment will discontinue until payments are made. Donald has already been admitted into the hospital three times and has been paying cash for all treatments, procedures, tests and labs. Their funds are exhausted and he is in urgent need of money so that his medical treatment remains available.
Donald is very important to his community and the people that he serves consider him to be very valuable to them. He's helped them make tools to make their jobs easier and this has been a great asset to a community suffering of poverty.
Donald, his family, his community and his ministry is ever so greatful for all prayers and support given on his behalf.
