Andrew's Fun(d)

On January 25th we lost our dear friend Andrew West. His passing came as a surprise and shock to all of us. For those of you who did not know him, he was the bright light in every room. Your quintessential class clown and funny guy. His ability to make others laugh and smile was virtually unmatched, even if it annoyed you to no end. If somehow you didn't like his humor, he would steal your heart with his music. In a 90s denim jacket and with a sleek guitar strap he sang the likes of Bill Withers, Chris Stapleton, and Bruno Mars in the same night (sometimes while he was already on the clock). Although he was only in our lives for a short time, we all still feel how he filled his surroundings with his devil-may-care attitude.

We will be holding a Celebration for him at Sip Coffee & Beer Garage on Sunday February 11th starting at 5pm. Details for the event can be found on his Facebook Page, Andrew West. Everyone is welcome.

Also, some of Andrew's close friends are working on making a Master of the last 3 songs Andrew recorded before he passed.  All of these funds will be going to Andrew's family to help them out with any expenses incurred during his 4 days in ICU and any post life expenses as well. We are hoping that some of the proceeds from this campaign will go to paying for the Mastering and production of the CD's.
