Hello my sister and I started this page for our triplet brother Cj. But most people know us as the Chanco Triplets.
Recently our brother got into an accident, which lead to some cuts and bruises all over his body but the worse part was the impact of his head hitting the pavement. We all didn't know how bad it was since he was still responsive. He was admitted Sunday morning to the hospital and they were able to do a CT scan of his brain. The damages were so bad that the doctor said "He's lucky to be alive". Due to the impact of his head hitting the ground it caused a massive brain hemorrhage to form. According to our doctor most people with these types of scans and injuries to the brain wouldn't usually get to see the next day.
So we are beyond fortunate and lucky.
Since May 21 Cj has remained connected to several machines, has CT scans completed daily, intubated to prevent his windpipes from collapsing, nasogastric feeding, and undergone a craniectomy ("a life saving surgery").
Today he is stable but he is still fighting for his life. We want him to continue this fight, however we must ask our friends, family, and anyone who cares about CJ to help ensure he has the chance to continue fighting.
He is a friend to many individuals, a son and our brother. Please help us support CJs fight to survive by donating. Any and all contributions make a difference and are greatly appreciated.
