444 for Nicola

My heart is so heavy as I write this. Being the politically involved person that I am, I especially  hate that we have to ask for financial help for a person who is ill, when so many are struggling under a global pandemic.  That being said, here it goes:

One of my very best friends, Nicola Hartmann, has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer with metastasis to her bones.  She has overcome a tremendous amount of loss already, when her beautiful twins Hannah and Alex passed away after a pre-term birth in 2018.  She’s a loving mother to Lucas, age 4.

Even after overcoming such a profound loss, 
Nicola worked hard to earn her CPA, and began a new career as an accountant, only to suffer this tremendous blow to her health. 

She has healthcare, but her treatment will have to be aggressive for a cancer that has progressed. I’m asking for your help so that she is not stressed about work, food, or support for herself and son, while she gets the cancer treatment she needs. I want her to focus on her health and nothing else. Nicola will get through this, because she has overcome every hardship in life.

She will get through this for Lucas, who needs his mama. 

The 444’s have a meaning. I met Nicola when we were only 17. We worked together at a coffee shop. She told me 444 has a special meaning. It means angels are looking out for you. Someone has your back. God is letting you know you’re on the right path. We would see those numbers wherever we went. Would send each other pictures of random places that 444 would pop up.   444 would guide me to my very own miracle later on in life
