Friends & Family, I have been coaching these incredible Elementary & Junior High boys since this past spring. At the start of the season they had very little basketball experience or talent. Over the past 7 months they have worked harder than any team I ever played for or coached. They have taken 2nd place in 3 of 7 tourneys, when always facing superior athletic talent, and always came back ready to work harder when faced with greater challenges. They came from behind 5 times in 4th quarters to win games, have multiple times begged me to practice until after 11pm on Friday/Saturday nights, and submit themselves to college level conditioning to get better. I am raising money so that they can all finish their summer basketball season with a bang, while lessening the burden on their parents. We will be playing in a tournament in Colorado Springs, Colorado from the 28th to 30th of July. The money we raise is for the players lodging, transportation, meals, and limited site seeing excursions. We will play a minimum of 5 games over two games, but our focus all year has been on life's bigger lessons. These boys all play for one another, put their "brothers" first, and are playing the long game in life to make themselves better on and off the court!Please let me know if you have questions or feedback.
