Hello everyone,
Thank you for tuning in today. I wanted to share something with you that seemed surreal to me. Last August I found out that I have cancer. I got it from the mesh used for a hernia repair about six and half years ago.
A couple of years after the surgery strange things began to happen but I did not relate it to the mesh at that time. I had numbness in some toes, I had near-fainting spells, I got cataracts in both eyes, and I had need for extensive dental work.
Last year I found out that I have osteoporosis and I had extraordinary weight loss. I also found out that I have a malignant adrenal gland as well as cysts, nodules and lesions in several internal areas.
I had the mesh removed last September 2020 and now I’m fighting for my life.
Ironically, the surgeon who removed the mesh did not need anything to repair the hernia. The first surgeon said it was just easier to use it.
So for several reasons, I am taking a holistic/integrative approach for my recovery, most of which insurance does not cover. I some cases, they say “it is not medically necessary.” Sounds like a story, doesn’t it!?
I never thought I would ever be in such a position. But then, no one really anticipates such a devastating diagnosis.
Take it from me, don’t put your life the the hands of any doctor. Do your research and get several opinions, traditional and holistic, before you have anything done, including dental work. I learned the very unfortunate way.
Below is a list included in my approach for recovery.
Please pass this on to others who may be interested in listening or anticipates getting surgery. Thank you.
And I thank you for listening.
This request can help in my recovery. I have medical, holistic and integrative doctors.
