What was supposed to be a family fun vacation for the Riffle/Gornall family on a house boat on Lake Cumberland turned into a nightmare...while stopped to fill the houseboat up with gas there was an explosion burning Gary over 51% of his body. He was life flighted to University of Cincinnati where he current is and will be for the next two months (or more) enduring surgeries/skin grafts to the most severe 2nd and 3rd degree burn areas. There are going to be hospital bills, travel expenses and housing that I am hoping we all can pitch in to take one less stress off of the family to allow them to focus on healing.
