Chris's Roof Fund

This is Chris my 87 year old neighbour he lives in Gatley with his dog Alice. He has no family at all and his roof is in a very poor state of repair to the extent it leaks.
He recently gave £4000 to a group of builders to fix his roof and make it water tight.
These people replaced some guttering, left lots of gaps and generally did little or no work.
They have not been seen since after saying they would return with scaffolding and a skip.
They left a leaflet but all numbers are just ringing out, sadly it's clear he has been the victim of a scam.
This was Chris' savings and can't spend any more on fixing his roof and he already lives in very basic conditions.
His neighbours and friends are saddened and outraged that somebody would take advantage of him like this.
We are hoping to replace the money he has lost and get his roof sorted.
