Hi, my name is Jasmine and my dad, Anthony Romero - known by pretty much everyone as Tony - was diagnosed with stage IV end stage liver cancer days after my husband and I got home from our wedding, just a few weeks ago. We found out my dad wasn’t able to attend our wedding as we were driving to the mountains. He thought he was sick, but the first hospital he went to misdiagnosed him.

My dad has weeks, maybe days left, and unfortunately my husband Ben and I are unable to cover much, if any, of his expenses. We moved my dad back into the house he’s renting for hospice and caring for him until he passes. We are lucky to have wonderful family that are helping us as much as possible but are starting this GoFundMe for anything we are unable to cover.

My dad is one of the kindest people I know. He would give up everything to help anyone that needed it, at any given moment. He has so many people that love and care about him and we want to make sure he goes as comfortably as possible without feeling like a burden on anyone.

Any and all donations will be used to help keep the lights on in my dad’s rental until he passes and to give us time to arrange moving out his things. The donations will also go toward: buying disposable supplies for my dad, buying his dog food, vet bills for his dog’s ear infection, groceries for my husband and I while we stay and care for my dad and work from my dad’s house to cover our own bills and rent at our apartment, cremation, and a future memorial service.
