My husband, Aubrey Rains suffered a massive heart attack on January 27th, in which he coded 5 times and we actually lost him for 13 minutes. He was placed on a ventilator in medically induced coma.
I just continued to pray, and ask God to make my husband strong and bring him back to me. I thank God every day that he is still with us. We are all so blessed and thankful that "Dee" is alive and recovering.
I would like to thank so many of you that have reached out and helped us in so many ways. My husband had so many visitors, texts, cards, and phone calls to check on him and see if we needed anything. I would also like to deeply thank all of you that have kept us in your thoughts and prayers throughout this difficult ordeal.
Although, during his hospital stay I discovered his medical insurance had been cancelled without our knowledge, due to an issue with processing during the month of December. I am currently waiting on an appeals and grievance from the insurance company to get a new policy in place. This can be a very lengthy process, and can take several months.
He is in need of several daily medications that are very expensive. Without his heart medications, this would be detrimental to his stents working properly and his condition improving. We are also faced with follow-up care and visits with a team of specialists, so that he may be able to return to work. Along with a major hospital bill.
I know many of you have already done so much for us, and we appreciate this greatly! However, if you would like to make a small donation to help with expenses, we would greatly appreciate this. It would help us get through this very difficult time.
Please continue to keep my husband in your thoughts and prayers. Pray that he gets stronger with each day so that he can begin to heal.
Thank you and God Bless,
Kim & Aubrey "Dee"
