Bahia, Brazil Study Abroad Summer Program

However, I am not done with my academic endeavor. In an effort to expand my global perspective I applied to a summer study abroad program. For 5 weeks I will be living with a family in Bahia, Brazil, while enrolled in classes at Faculdade Social da Bahia, and volunteering at the Instituto Cultural Steve Biko: an organization that focuses on Human Rights and antiracism. I am raising money for the cost of the program and airfare. 

The money collected will go directly towards the program fees and the cost of travel (right now one round-trip ticket is approximately $1500.00). We are scheduled to leave for Brazil on June 3rd, 2011.
