Car for Kim

Hello everyone! 

First, thank you for taking the time to read about why I started this fundraiser. 

My name is Tabitha Yule and I am Kim’s cheer coach. Kim started cheering for me when she was 16. She came to a tumbling class and I could instantly see the raw talent that she had for cheer. I talked to her about trying out for my competition team and she was so excited but of course With competition cheer comes expenses.She knew that it would be too much for her family so she wasn’t going to tryout. I just couldn’t let her pass up an opportunity to cheer and show off her skills so we agreed on her working at the gym to pay for the season. She began working and doing all fundraisers and paid everything forthat year. She has cheered for me going on her 4th year Now and has continued to pay for herself each year with the money she makes from coaching and doing private lessons. I tried to talk her into me sponsoring her but she just wouldn’t have it and wanted to pay her way. I know when I was that age there was no way I could imagine even paying for cheer because it comes with a lot of cost. For years she has borrowed other people’s cars to get to practice. She lives an hour away and still finds a way to get there. She even would pick up other kids on the way so they could have a ride. I have wanted to get her a car since she started cheering because she impressed me with how responsible and hardworking she is. I have found a car that would be perfect for her to travel back and forth from the gym to college in and would love your help to get it for her so she can finally have something of her own.
