Help the Barry family
Donation protected
On March 19, 2024 my brother-in-law Josh Barry suffered a rare allergic reaction to a common antibiotic that resulted in acute liver failure. Josh received a life saving liver transplant on March 27,2024.
Since that time, he has experienced multiple complications resulting in several additional surgeries with more to come. He is still currently in the hospital with his devoted wife Jessica at his side. Because of his grave condition she has taken unpaid medical leave until further notice to focus on Josh and their two children.
For reference, after a transplant the doctor said most recipients go home after 7-10 days. Josh is on day 64 with no end in sight as the hits keep coming.
I’m asking for donations to help support the Barry family as they navigate this very difficult journey. This could be any one of us in this position as he was unaware of his allergy. If you are unable to donate at this time, please keep them in your prayers!
