My son Brian was diagnosed with Parotid Gland Cancer in May 2018. He like so many went through 33 radiation treatments and 7 chemotherapy treatments after a long and involved surgery. 

Unfortunately his cancer metastasized to his lungs. He was being treated with a drug named Xtandi. Not FDA approved for this cancer. However, Brian’s cancer was controlled with its use. His insurance company at this time will no longer pay for  this medication, which has been proven effective.  Currently, Brian is not
taking any medication until the insurance company makes a decision.   As you can imagine cancer doesn’t        stop growing. 

Brian, just turned 38. There is an option to find a cure. However, this is experimental.  The cost of the study is $15,000    and not covered by insurance either. 

The study is under the direction of Dr. Marshall Posner at Mount Sinai in New York.

Please help me to help my son.
