Eddie's Funeral Expenses

It hurts my soul to even have to type these words. Back in November 2021, Eddie had a horrible fall that caused a massive brain injury. Part of his right skull had to be removed to relieve the swelling in his brain. For every step forward he took, he then took 3 steps back. He got better then coded and had to be brought back to life. He then had surgery to put the skull back which led to an even better prognosis and recovery. He was out of the hospital in another hospital meant to slowly remove all the equipment they had him on. They removed the Tracheotomy. he was eating, talking, he was fighting to get back home. 2 weeks ago he became very ill and had to be brought back to the hospital where once again he coded. Eddie fought and came back to his family only to lose his battle today after a 6 month fight. His wife Leslie has been by his side since the accident and has not returned to work. Initially I wanted to start this go fund me as a financial assistance for her so she wouldn't need to worry about her rent or food while in the hospital. At the time Eddie was very much coherent and if you knew him, you know he said absolutely not. He was private and proud. Unfortunately Leslie cannot do this on her own and needs all the help you guys can offer. Eddie leaves behind his wife Leslie, his 6 kids, Amanda, Eddie Jr, Elijah, Elias, Edylis and Alyssa, his 3 stepchildren Joselyn, Jaclyn & Jonathan, a total of 8 grandkids, his mother, 2 brothers and his sister along with all his friends and family who loved him very much. I ask that you pray for the family, for God to give them the strength to get through this and lastly I ask for any financial assistance you can offer. Anything will help as she plans to bring him back to New York where his heart was always at & where he will now be laid to rest.
