Shane Friend passed on Monday, March 29, 2021. Shane was a great son, fiancé, brother, grandson and an even better father. He made such a strong impact on the lives around him. He leaves behind a fiancé, Jennifer and three children that he loved more then life itself; Kayla, Shane and Brayden. 

Shane fought a rough battle with stage four B-cell Lymphoma. He went through various treatments and faced many obstacles along the way.  Shane always remained optimistic and unfortunately lost his battle at only 31 years old. 

I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Shane’s funeral as he did not have insurance and his fiancé is currently unemployed  because of covid and spent all of her time taking care of her fiancé and their children. Any money remaining after funeral arrangements will go toward future education for their three young children. 

We are all devastated by Shane’s loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give Shane the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes. Some of you have reached out and asked how you can help us during this time. Know that your kindness is much appreciated as we navigate this heartbreaking moment. We kindly ask, if you are able to, to donate funds towards the funeral service, as we hope to carry out all of Shane’s final wishes.
